Doi Suthep

Cited as the icon of Chiang Mai and must see landmark. Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple is the most important and famous temple of Chiang Mai. The temple itself is located near the top of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, with a perspective panoramic view of Chiang Mai’s scenery from its big wide deck. The golden pagoda is in Chiang Saen style and the staircase leading up to the temple has beautiful naga stucco work decorated with colorful glass.

Doi Pui Hilltribe Village

Located only a couple of kilometers from Doi Suthep, Doi Pui might not be as famous as Doi Suthep, but their beauty and wonder are hidden in the Hmong hill tribe village situated on the mountain waiting for you to discover. There are a lot of wonderful things to do such as sightseeing the beautiful pristine scenery, be impressed with the hill tribe’s culture or listen to interesting stories from old people of the village. Despite being a key tourist attraction in Chiang Mai. Doi Pui offers on insight into how the hill tribes live in Thailand. The villagers wear traditional Hmong clothes, sell traditional Hmong handicrafts and live in traditional hmong-style homes.

Hot Springs in Chiang Mai

Several hot springs was found in Chiang Mai for example in Mae Tang, Fang and San Kampaeng districts. In San Kamphaeng, there are two well-know hot spring spots namely the San Kampaeng Hot Spring and Rungaroon Hot Spring. Accommodation and areas for camping are available. Guests who go there can enjoy making boiled eggs in a hot spring and bathing in a hot spring pool and then be relived with a traditional Thai Massage.

Doi Inthanon National park

           Doi Inthanon National Park is over three thousand rais (482 and covers three districts of Chiang Mai.Doi Inthanon is famouse for its beautiful scenery and is the highest point of Thailand, at over 2,565 meters above sea level.The geographic characteristic is suitable for tourists who like trekking and want to study the ecology system of the forest.Doi Inthanon National Park also contains the wonderful Wachiratharn Waterfall.
